Costco is, once again, temporarily changing its policies amid the influx of shoppers panic-buying at its stores as the coronavirus continues to grapple the nation.

On Wednesday, the grocery corporation announced it will only be allowing members one guest per membership card. Previously, members could bring up to two guests with them as well as their children.

The company said the move is designed to limit the number of people in the warehouse at one time per social distancing efforts suggested by the CDC as well as the .

Over the past few weeks, Costco has placed limits on , halted and is no longer accepting returns on certain items.
